ITI Admission Process 2019-2020: Application Form, Fees, Courses, Eligibility, Dates

ITIs or industrial training institutes the institutes that aim to provide vocational training to the students. All the rules and regulations of the same are being set up by the directorate general of employment and training- ministry of Skill Development and entrepreneurship. By means of training, it is tried that the students get to obtain industry-specific skills which in turn might create a workforce in India. Well, when it comes to admission, every state carries out its own process. The process of same starts from July or August. The ITIs are increasing day by day having both the control of private entrepreneurs and government ones. They provide training and once the same is done the candidates are presented to appear for India trade test. The results of the same are that the students are able to get National trade certificate.

Eligibility and Courses

By the name of the trade, various courses are being offered by ITIs wherein every Trade focuses on the needs of industry or some specific set of skills. When it comes to duration of courses, the same is 6months - 2years, depending all on type of course. Just like the courses eligibility’s too differ. In order to be a part of Trade, it is necessary that one passed class 8 or class 10th or class 12th, just after which they can start the course.

Course Fees

When it comes to fees, both government and private ITIs have different ones. The same for engineering trades range from Rs.1000- Rs.9000. While for non-engineering the same comes to Rs.3950- Rs.7000. There are also concessions available depending upon the need. For a living, accommodations are provided by means of hostels which is reasonable enough. This course also provides the candidates to pay the fee in 2 instalments.

Admission dates for ITIs

The same begins every year in April or May. The online/offline admissions application form are available from March/April/May which has a deadline till June. Admissions start from June/July with the commencement of the same just a month after. Sometimes these dates to vary from state to state. The same may vary from state to state, therefore it is recommended to have a good look at the individual admission process of each one.  

ITI Andhra Pradesh-

The government of Andhra Pradesh doesn’t provide the candidates with online admission procedures. Instead, they are offered with 2 ways, either one of which can be selected to apply therein. 1.By visiting the ITI Vijayawada on prescribed dates as specified by the authority. The student needs to download the online form available and submit the same with a photograph and Rs.250 as the fees. After the proper receipt of the following, the details of candidates are updated there on the server.]   2.The candidates who are unable to visit ITI Vijayawada can send the filled form by post together with 2 photographs and xerox of relevant documents. They also can submit the application fee in the nearby AP online centre, the receipt for which needs to form the part of documents sent.

Admissions process-

Once all the applications are received, the government of the state releases the merit list which as per availability of seats and merit makes the right choice of candidates after whose selection the same needs to undergo some relevant online counselling process Along with exercising of web options l.

ITI Bihar-

The exam herein is conducted by Bihar combined entrance competitive examination board. The application process starts in April and the exam is conducted in May.

Admission

In order to get admitted to this, the candidates must visit the online site wherein they need to upload a scanned copy of photographs and relevant documents. The availability of valid Mail id is mandatory.

Fees

The same is charged as Rs.550 for generals and Rs.100 for the SC/ST.

Admissions process

The candidates are chosen based upon their relevant marks in exams conducted after which they need to attend counselling programme and exercise all other web options. The candidates are also given preference to chose their own ITI seat and the same get considered if there is the availability of same.

ITI Kerala-

Herein the directorate general of employment training is the one conducting exams. No entrance exams for students and also the admission process begins in June.

Application process

The DTE official website should be used to submit the application forms. Once the form is filled, together with its Xerox and attested academic certificates the same is to be submitted to the relevant ITI office where the candidate wants to take admissions.

Fees

100Rs is changed here for the same.

Admissions procedure

The seat is allocated based on merit and availability. The candidates are likely to get a seat in one preferred. The seat distribution can be checked online on the DTE website.

ITI Delhi-

Department of training and vocational education conduct the exams in this state. The admissions begin in June and no entrance exams are there for admissions here too.

Application

The candidates can fill the application form in the official site of Delhi ITI. Once the same is done the candidates are requested to visit the nearby ITI government site and get their documents verified. The original and xerox copy both are requested to be brought in while they visit the government ITI.

Fees

The fees charged herein is Rs.75-100 all which is dependent on the course chose.

Admissions process

The same is based on merit. The authority herein provides the candidate's ranks on the basis of percentage or numbers they have obtained in the exams. Not only this, there are 4 rounds of counselling before a candidate is chosen herein for the seat.

ITI Maharashtra- 

Directorate of vocational education and training is responsible for conducting the admission process which is totally centralised.

ITI Uttar Pradesh-

For providing admissions to government and private tuitions, Raajya vyaavasaayik prashikshan parishad is responsible. The admission process therein begins in May or June and no entrance exam is conducted for the same.

Application process

The candidates are requested to fill the online form on the official website of Raajya vyaavasaayik prashikshan. Once done the print out should be taken and the application print out to be taken after which the same can be dropped down to ITI colleges Dropbox.

Fees

Herein the fees for the general class is 250 Rs while the same comes down to Rs.150 for SC/ST

Admissions process

The application authority publishes the result of seat allocation in the first or second week of June. Their seat and selections can be checked by entering the roll no and date of birth on the official website relevant column. The ones who are selected for admission are requested thereby to pay the fees and on time report the college for the same.

ITI Rajasthan-

The official website of DTE Rajasthan can be used to fill the application form of the course which they want. The candidates are then requested to upload the scanned copy of signature together with the photo which needs to be scanned to. The students are also asked to scan and submit the scanned copy of results to class 8, 10th and 12th, all on the website while filling the form.

Fees

The same is Rs 100 for general category students and 75 for some reserved categories.

Admissions process

The seat allocation is based on merit. The authority publishes an online merit list which can be checked online for getting to know whether or not the candidates secured their place.

ITI Gujarat-

Directorate of employment and training is the one who conducts the admission process of Gujarat ITI. The admission process starts in June and there are no relevant tests conducted for the same. The candidates are requested to submit the application form from the official ITI website of Gujarat. The admission granted is based upon merit and none another thing here in this state.  

ITI Uttarakhand-

The authority responsible for conducting the admission herein is Uttarakhand board of Technical Education. They conduct entrance tests every year in the month of June and a candidate needs to qualify for the same before they even get to admitted for any of the colleges. The application process begins in the month of March here.

Application process

The candidates are requested to submit their application forms on an online basis. The same can be submitted on the official website of Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education and get themselves registered for the entrance test.

Fees

No fixed fees here. The same changes from time to time every year and is totally based on examination conducting authority.

Admission

The same is done on the basis of checking the test results. Only who scored well in the entrance exams gets a chance to move forward.

ITI Manipur- 

The admission process here is conducted by Directorate of craftsmen and training. In order to get admissions, an entrance conducted needs to be cleared. This will help the process to move further.

Application

Interested candidates are called upon to fill the online application forms which need to be submitted on the official website of directorate general of employment and training.

Fees

The same is decided by the exam conducting authority as and when they need to.

Admission process

The same is totally based upon the marks one secured in the online entrance exams conducted by the authorities therein. Well, the same is just an overlook and cannot be considered to be followed all the time. The same is changed by the authority conducting exams from time to time when they feel the need. Apart from the state mentioned above, few conduct online while few conduct an offline form filling process. The same once submitted takes the form of admission which is totally based upon merit system of all the candidates applying.
