SBI has released the notification for recruitment of 2000 probationary officers. The sbi po vacancy breakdown is as follows.

SBI is well known to offer the best and industry leading packages to its probationary officers. The starting scale of SBI PO will be 27,620 with 4 advance increments applicable to Junior Management grade scale 1.


The candidate must satisfy the following conditions in order to be eligible for SBI PO exam 2019. 1] Educational Qualification: The candidate must have obtained a graduation degree from an institute recognized by central or state government.  Students studying in their final year are also eligible to apply, provided that they need to produce of having passed the examination on or before 1 July 2019. Candidates having Chartered Accountant certificate can also apply for this post. 2] Age regulations: Candidate must be minimum of 21 years and maximum of 30 years as on 1st April 2019. Age relaxations are applicable to various categories as per the government rules.


1] SELECTION PROCEDURE The candidates are selected on the basis of a 3 step process conducted by the IBPS.
  1. Preliminary Examination. (100 Marks)
  2. Mains Examination.           (200 Marks)
  3. Group Exercises and Personal Interview. (50 Marks)
Both the prelims and mains exams are conducted online. Each correct answer is awarded with 1 mark, while ¼ marks are deducted for giving a wrong answer. Only the students shortlisted in preliminary exam will be allowed to appear for the Mains exams. 2] SYLLABUS The SBI PO syllabus is quite similar to that of other bank exams. The prelims and mains examinations consist of topics such as reasoning ability, Quantitative aptitude, English and General Awareness.
