  • STET 2019 was held for 15 subjects, and around 1.78 lakh people took part. In March, the results of 12 topics were announced, with a total of 1,27,000 candidates. Three subjects' results were pending: Urdu, Sanskrit, and Science.
  • In September 2020, the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test was held for 37335 positions. This figure covers all teaching positions in English, Math, Social Studies, Science, Urdu, Hindi, and Sanskrit. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in their respective fields to sit for the exam. In addition, the age range for taking this exam is 21 to 40 years old. Candidates must take Paper 1 if they wish to teach secondary school, and Paper 2 if they want to teach higher secondary.
  • Education Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary and the Education Department have issued the Stet result 2021. Re-examination was previously held online due to reports of an alleged paper leak from one exam centre in the Gaya district in January 2020. At the Gaya centre, 106 teachers were dismissed for causing a commotion during the exam.

Qualifying Marks & Exam Pattern for BSEB STET 2021

The STET Exam Pattern consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. For pupils to pass the tests, they must achieve a score of 50% or higher. These exams do not have any negative marking. Reserved Category candidates must achieve a qualifying score of 45 percent. Both papers are worth 150 points apiece, for a total of 150 questions. The exam will last two hours and thirty minutes. Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 include two sections: a Teacher Eligibility portion and a section relating to the specific subject.

If there is a tie between two candidates, the BSEB will follow the following rules:-

  • Age will be taken into account. If there is a tie in the merit list, the elder candidate will be given priority.

  • If two candidates are the same age, the results of their graduation/post-graduation exams will be considered.

  • If two of these criteria aren't met, the name's first letter will be considered in alphabetical order.
