Overview

The Jaipur Development Authority or JDA has launched the JDA new flat scheme. The scheme is for the poor people of Jaipur. Under this scheme, the poor residents of Jaipur can apply for residential plots. Only economically backward residents can apply for this scheme. The plots will be given by lottery after appropriate registration. 

The Jaipur development authority has established itself as the pioneer of growth and expansion yet again by launching this scheme. It has started a lot of other schemes too. They have also launched numerous plans and schemes for reducing pollution, road traffic reduction and maintenance, public convenience, improvement of flyovers and bridges, construction of roads, etc. 

Objective

The sole purpose of the scheme is to develop the overall lifestyle of the economically backward citizens of the state. The house and flat rates are very high in Jaipur. And to solve that problem of the EWS, LIG, and BPL category people, the state government has come up with this scheme. This way, everyone can get a house of their dreams. They will be provided with flats by a lottery system so that everyone gets an equal chance, and the whole process stays transparent. However, only eligible citizens can apply for this scheme.

JDA has selected eleven areas in Jaipur for giving plots. The total number of plots is 1448. There are full 359 plots for people belonging to the MIG and LIG category. Lal Sukhadia Nagar has around 194 plots, Priyadarshini Nagar Estuary has 165 plots, and the rest of the plots are at Dahmikhurd, Sanganer and Ajmer road. The plots will be given to eligible beneficiaries who win the lucky draw lottery. 

Eligibility Criteria

  • If applying for LIG-A, the annual income must be INR 3 lakhs of the applicant’s entire family.
  • If using for LIG-B, the annual income must be in between INR 3 to 6 lakhs of the applicant’s whole family.
  • If applying for the MIG category, the annual income must be in between INR 6 lakhs to 10 lakhs.
  • The applicant should be a citizen of the state of Rajasthan.
  • The applicant must be older than the age of 18.
  • The individual must have a bank account under his/her name.
  • The applicant’s husband/ wife/ any other dependant should not possess any other land or house in the state.
  • The JDA shouldn’t give any home or plot to the individual on his/her name for the past ten years.

  • Health care is granted by the Government Hospital or Primary Health Centre
  • Application Fees
  • The applicants will have to provide INR 500 as the registration fee for the scheme. The individual must pay these fees during registration. They can pay through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or by submitting the money in E-Mitra Kiosk. If the individual does not get the plot, then the entire registration fee must be given back to the person.
