Ladli Yojana was launched by the Delhi Government in the year 2008. This scheme will help to make women strong and will empower a girl child by enhancing their social status as well as self-reliance with good quality education, economic protection, and security against favoritism and deprivation. Rewards under Ladli Yojana
In the Ladli Yojana, the girl who is born in the last 1 year is able to get the benefit of Rs 11, 000 and this benefit is only for those girls who are born in a hospital or nursing home of Delhi but if a girl is born at home then she will get Rs 10,000. As well as with this cash benefit the girl child will also get financial help when she will start his study in school. The payment will be made on the name of the girl child and the amount will be deposited as a fixed deposit. And this amount can be redeemed only when the girl child reaches the age of maturity which is 18 years or she has passed class 10th and the amount will be provided with the interest. Eligibility criteria for the girls born in the last year
- The candidate who wants to take the benefits of the Ladli scheme must be a girl child and from Delhi.
- The parents of the girl child must be living in Delhi for the past 3 years and have resident proof form Delhi.
- The girl child also born in Delhi.
- The income of the girl child family should not be greater than INR 1 Lakh.

- The girl child born in Delhi.
- The parents of the girl child should be living in Delhi from the past 3 years before the date they are applying for the application process if they want to take benefits of this scheme and have resident proof form Delhi.

Application Process for Ladli Yojana
The candidate can apply for the Ladli Yojana application form that is accepted offline mode. The candidates have to fill all the details in the application form and have to submit the application form at the concerned office. Step 1. The candidate is able to download the application form for the Ladli Scheme from the official website of the Department of Women and Child Development. The candidate can also get the application form from the District Officer of the concerned departments that are Department of Social Welfare, Government of Delhi, or State Bank of India, as well as Government, recognized schools.
Step 2. Now, when will you get the application form, fill all the asked details in the form very carefully.

Note: If the girl child is studying in school or taken admission then the application form must be submitted within the 90 days of the girl child’s admission. And if the girl child is newly born then the form should be submitted in the year of birth.

- Birth certificate of the girl child that was issued by the Registrar of Delhi, to prove that the girl child has been born in Delhi.
- Latest photo of the girl child with her parents.
- A certificate of the income of the family.
- If the girl child is studying then the admission certificate that was issued from recognized government school.
Terms and Conditions of Ladli Yojana
There are some rules and regulations that are necessary to read carefully before applying for the Delhi Ladli scheme. All the terms and conditions of Ladli Yojana are mentioned below.
- Under this scheme, the girl child is able to get INR 5000 every time when she will get admission in the next class like Class 1, Class 6, Class 9, and Class 12. The girl child will also receive INR 5000 when she will pass Class 10.
- The candidates have to apply for the benefit every time when she is getting admission in the next class.
- The benefit will only apply to those candidates who will register every time when they enter in next class as well as who have made an application at the time of their birth and renewed every time. This candidate is able to get an amount of INR 1 Lakh, approximately.
- In case if the girl child dies before taking the benefits or before getting matured then the full amount will be transferred back to the treasury of the Government.
- The amount that was sent by the Delhi government in the account of the girl child is non-transferable as well as non-refundable; it means nobody is able to redeem the amount before the maturation period of the girl child.
- The amount will be redeemed only when the girl child turns 18 years or she has passed class 10th.
- Every time when the amount for the stage is a deposit, a certificate will have to submit to the Competent Authority that will prove the girl child alive and pursuing education in a regular school. The parents can easily get the certificate from the school and get attested by the Principal of the school.
- If the address of the girl child is changing in any condition then the Competent Authority must be notified within one month with new address proof.
- When the girl child turns 18 and wants to redeem money at that time the candidate has to submit an application form with an acknowledgment letter that is received from the State Bank Life Insurance Co. Ltd. as well as sheets of class 10 or 12 and a copy of the bank passbook to show the account number.
- The candidates must have to open a Zero Balance Saving Account in the State bank of India with the help of the acknowledgment letter that is received from SBIL.
