Overview

The Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Pension Yojana was launched by the Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Nitish Kumar, on 1 April 2019 to provide financial assistance to the elderly of the state. Under this scheme, financial support will be provided as a pension by the State Government to the elderly above 60 years of age in Bihar. Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Pension Yojana comes under the social welfare department, which allows all older adults and women in the state to live well in old age.
