The main reason for this in today's time is that medicines are available for this severe disease, but drugs alone are not able to fight with this disease; it needs nutritious foods also. If people do not take proper diet every day, they will never get rid of this disease. So to solve this issue, the government of India launched a scheme called Nikshay Poshan Yojana. This scheme will help to eradicate this disease from India. Under this scheme, people will able to get financial assistance from the central government for TB disease.

Other amendments

Some other amendments were also made in this scheme. If a patient does not have his bank account, then the amount will be transferred to another person's bank account. But it is necessary to provide a self-attested consent letter for the beneficiary. If the recipient, as well as any other person, does not have a bank account, then a new account will be opened on the name of the beneficiary. Now there are a lot of changes that were made in the official portal to create more secure and well-organized. This will help to monitor patients every day.

2. Now the candidates have to fill all the necessary information in the application form. And filling all the details, you have to save your nomination slip.

The Registration Process for Health Care Centers

1. At first, the applicants have to register in the name of health care centres if they want to join this scheme. If you are already registered, then you can direct login by entering your ID and password. First, you will need to go the official website of Nikshay Poshan Yojana.

2. If you are a new user, then you have to visit the official portal, and then click on 'New Health Facility Registration'.

3. After this, you will be asked some details like how your health care centre is, which state, district, as well as block it belongs to.

4. After filling this information, you will get another page where you have to fill some more details about your health care centre.

5. After filling these details, you have to click on the 'Continue' button.

6. After the completion of this process, a unique ID code will have appeared on your screen. This ID you have to save for logion in the future.

7. You are only allowed to log in to your account through this unique ID.

8. At last, your health care centre will be successfully get registered under the scheme.

Approval of Health Care Center Registration

You cannot immediately join any health care centre under this scheme after registration because when the registration process completes, they have to wait for some time to complete the process of approval. This approval process of the health care centre will be done by the higher authorities that are mentioned below:

  • When the registration process gets completed, they have to wait for the approval from their respective district officer. The officer will check all the details and verify. After the matching of entire criteria, he will confirm authorization for your health care centre.
  • You will get information about this confirmation through SMS on the registered mobile number.
  • When you get a confirmation message, it means approval of your health care centre is completed.
  • After this, you are allowed to start the task of getting the data of TB patients.

Notification Process after Patient's Registration

  • After the registration process, all the eligible patients have to visit the TB treatment centre and provide all their information, which will further be stored in their database.
  • After this, the information will be matched, the information of the patients saved, and the information that patients gave. If both the information is correct, the health care centres inform the concerned patient about it.
  • When all the formalities of this scheme get completed, then you are eligible to get financial support from the government for the treatment of your TB disease as well as for a nutritious diet.
