Overview

There are a lot of schemes started by the government to help every citizen and class of the country progress. The PM Van Dhan Yojana was such a scheme launched on 14 April 2018, on the birthday of Baba Bhimrao Ambedkar. The full name of this scheme is Pradhan Mantri Van Dhan. This scheme will help to increase the income of tribal as well as society has to show the path of development.

As we all know, some sections of our country still live on a small income, some of them are the tribal communities. This class is often not able to get a fair price for the foodstuffs grown in the forests because these people are not educated, and they do not know what their products actually cost. Neither the things grown in the entire forests are used appropriately nor does the economic condition of these people improve. To solve this issue the government started Van Dhan Yojana.

Under the scheme, the youth of this community will be taught tamarind, mahua storage, cleaning of nigella seeds, packaging training, as well as all information related to these products and marketing. This will help to increase the income of the tribal community who are giving the best in producing food products. This step of the government will expand the tribal, along with the government will also get extra tax and the forests can be fully used.
