Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana List


There are so many different types of schemes that are launched by the Indian government for the betterment of society. Talking of which one such scheme is Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana that has been designed to bridge up the gap between the existing rural areas. This scheme focuses on providing the pucca homes along with the basic facilities that also include the hygienic kitchen to those who have been residing in the kucha homes. PMAY 2021 new list

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana scheme has the cost which is shared by the state and central government with the Ration of 90:10 in the hilly areas and 60:40 in the plain areas. The yojana list of 2021 has already been published on its official website. It comes with the applicant’s name which is selected under the 2021 - 22 year. The scheme is in two components which are Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban (PMAY - U) and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural or Gramin (PMAY R/G). Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana list, there are even different segments for these two components. Eligibility criteria

  • Women (regardless of caste)

  • Individuals from scheduled castes and scheduled tribes

  • Families belonging to the Economically Weaker Section or EWS (income up to RS 3 Lakh)

  • Families belonging to the Middle-Income Group or MIG l and ll (for MIG l income up to RS 12 Lakh and For MIG ll, up to RS 1.80 Cr).

  • Households without any male adult aged between 19 to 59 years.

  • Households with a disabled member.

  • Households not owning land and earning from casual labor.

  • Houseless families or families living in kutcha houses with zero, one, or two rooms.

  • Households without a literate adult with a minimum age of 25 years.

  • Households without any bodily-abled member.

  • Families belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and other Minority categories.

  • Individuals with a Kisan Credit Card with a limit of RS 50,000 or more.

  • Families that do not own any motorized vehicle, agriculture equipment, or fishing boat.

  • Households without a government employee or individuals earning RS 10,000 or more.

  • Individuals who do not pay any professional tax, including income tax

  • Families belonging to Low Income Group or LIG (income up to ₹ 6 Lakh)

How to Check Name in PMAY 2021 New List?

 As stated earlier, the PMAY list consists of two segments for the components which are Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Urban and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Rural or Gramin. Both these segments can be accessed using the official website of the PMAY even if the applicants are needed to follow some steps to check two segments of the list.

Features under PM Awas Yojana Rural Scheme

Those who don’t know what all features are in this scheme because of which it gained popularity, here are few things to know:

  • To find the beneficiaries who are deserving, the selection is made with the Caste Census as the parameter of socio-economic and not the list of BPLs.

  • The unit assistance in this scheme is shared by the central and state government in those who are in hilly and plain areas.

  • The union territories that also include the Ladakh UT can get complete financial guidance from the central. But the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir can get the financial assistance which shall be shared at the ratio of 90:10 from the Central and State Government.

  • The basic amenities like toilet construction shall also be covered in this for which the beneficiary shall get financial assistance of up to RS 12,000 from the Swachh Bharat Mission - Gramin.

  • The beneficiary shall also get the payment under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Gramin Scheme that would be sent either to the bank account or the post office which is linked to the Aadhar directly

Documents Required for PMAY - G

There are some documents that are expected to be submitted for being a part of this scheme. This includes:

  • MGNREGA-registered beneficiary job card number

  • Swachh Bharat Mission number of the applicant

  • Bank account details of the applicant

  • Aadhaar Card

  • Salary Certificate and proof of income

  • Ethnic Group Certificate

  • NOC from a housing society

  • An affidavit stating the applicant owns a pucca house.

How to Check PMAYG New List 2021-2022?

In order to check the list of the applicants that are selected for getting the scheme advantages, there is a process. The list gets published every year on the official portal of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin where you can get the details using or without using the registration number

  • Firstly, visit the official website of PMAY- Gramin

  • You can then see the option Stakeholder’ on which you have to click

  • Choose the IAY/PMAYG Beneficiary’ from the drop-down menu

  • Click on the ‘Stakeholder’ option

  • Select ‘IAY/PMAYG Beneficiary’ from the drop-down menu.

  • For checking the list with registration number enter your registration number and click on ‘Submit.

  • For checking the list without a registration number Click on ‘Advanced Search’ and click on ‘Search’


In order to be a part of this scheme, it is expected that the application is enrolled on the official website. It is possible for the individuals to even contact their respective ward. The applicants must fill up the application form along with other details that can be received from the Gram Panchayat

Existing home loan borrowers, are eligible for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana must have not availed the subsidy who can submit a request at their respective banks.
