Saksham Yuva Yojana was launched in 2016 by the State Government of Haryana to support the unemployed youth of the state. This scheme is basically for those students who are graduate and unemployed. This scheme will provide a monthly allowance to the unemployed youth of the state. The main motive of the scheme is to increase employment opportunities in private as well as government sector for the youth as well as to make them more skilled. All the main Department of State government, universities, board as well as a corporation are strictly instructed to intimate the Employment Department about the vacancies.  Whoever register under this scheme will get a message and email alert by the Employment Department about the vacancies whenever it will come. Saksham Yuva portal is also very useful for the graduates to check about new openings as well as job opportunities.

Under the Saksham Yuva Scheme, the students who get selected will get the job by the state government in any department as well as banks in the state. For this the candidates who will register have to work at least 100 hours in one month. They are advised to work as a trainee in their preferred department to get a job.

Objectives of Saksham Yuva Yojana

The main objectives of the Saksham Yuva Yojana are mentioned below:

  • Saksham Yuva Scheme is an initiative taken by the State Government of Haryana to financially support unemployed graduate youths of the state by providing them a monthly allowance.

Components of Saksham Yuva Scheme

There are two main components that form under this scheme’s structure:

  • Rs.3,000/- monthly allowance will provide to the Unemployed youth of the state.
  • Matriculation qualified applicants will get Rs.100 per month whether male or female.
  • 12th standard or equivalent qualified candidates will get Rs.900 per month.
  • Graduates or equivalent candidates will get Rs.1500 per month.
  • Postgraduates’ candidates will get Rs.3, 000 per month.
  • If the candidate will work for 100 hours in one month under various Departments, Boards, Corporations, or Registered Societies, etc. registered under Haryana Government and in Private companies or enterprises then Monthly Honorarium is up to Rs.6, 000/- per month.

The eligible youth will able to get a job in the many businesses like Agriculture and allied activities, Textile industry, Automotive, Banking, Finance, and Insurance sector, Construction, and allied activities, Electronics and telecommunication, Food processing industries, Healthcare, Logistics and Transportation, Retail business, Sports and Physical education, Tourism and Hospitality, Green skills as well as other sectors such as beauty and wellness, security, etc.

Eligibility Criteria

There is a mandatory eligibility criteria for those candidates who want to get benefits under this scheme. The entire criteria for the scheme are explained below.

Eligibility Criteria for Monthly Unemployed Allowance

  • The candidate should be a resident of Haryana.
  • The candidate must have 10+2 or a Two-year certificate or diploma course passed after Matric from any Board as well as University recognized by the State Government of Haryana.
  • The candidate has done graduation from a University recognized by the State Government of Haryana.
  • Post-graduation from any recognized University from Haryana.
  • The candidate must have to register under the Live Register of Employment Exchange in the State for a 3 year time period.
  • The age to enroll under this scheme is between 21 years to 35 years.
  • Employees who are dismissed from any government service for any reason are not eligible to apply under this scheme.
  • The candidate must be not presently working in any department of private as well as government sector.
  • The annual income of the family is not greater than Rs.3 Lakhs from all sources.

Eligibility Criteria for Honorarium

  • The candidate must have cleared 10+2, graduation or post-graduation.
  • The candidate must be the resident of Haryana.
  • The candidate must have to register under the Live Register of Employment Exchange in the State.
  • The candidate must have to complete the Post-graduation degree through regular courses from Punjabi University, Patiala as well as from any recognized Universities in UT Chandigarh or NCT Delhi or Haryana.
  • The candidate must be a regular student in the 12th standard.
  • The age of the candidate must be between 18 to 35 years for 12th class and 21 to 35 years for graduate and post-graduate candidates.
  • The annual income of the family is not greater than Rs.3 Lakhs from all sources.
  • The candidate must be not presently working in any department of private as well as government sector.
  • The annual family income should not exceed Rs.3 lakhs from all sources.

Registration Process

The eligible candidates can easily apply for the Saksham Yuva Yojana by following the simple steps that are mentioned below:

1. At first, the candidates have to log-in to the official website of Employment Department, Haryana Government.

2. Now, click on the “Free Job Seekers Registration” button.

3. Now, you will need to verify your phone number using OTP. Once done, the candidates will have to read all the appeared instructions as well as guidelines very carefully and then click on the “Continue Registration” button.

4. Now, the candidate will see an application form of 5 pages appear on the screen. Now fill all the details correctly as well as carefully.

5. Now, click on the ‘Save/Next’ button and you will be successfully registered under this scheme.

6. Now, submit all the required documents along with the copy of the provisional I-card to the concerned employment exchange and this process candidate have to complete within 15 days of online registration.

7. After completing this entire process, now, visit this page: https://hreyahs.gov.in/parvesh.php and then, log in to the Saksham Yuva page.

8. Now, another form will open on the screen and the candidates have to fill this form too and submit carefully.
