This scheme was started to offer medical financial assistance to the poverty line and poor people. However, it was only available in certain districts with 2059 medical ailments and procedures of 1059 that were offered. But now there soon shall be an expansion where the pilot project stated that 7 more districts are added like Kadapa, Kurnool, Prakasam, Guntur, Vizianagaram, and Visakhapatnam where the medical expenses exceeding Rs.1000 shall be covered and the ailments would increase from 1059 to 2200, including cancer care services.

The candidate must have municipal property tax-paying families for less than 3000 SQ FT (334 sq. Yds).
Outsourcing, contract, part-time employees, and sanitation workers with an annual income of over Rs 5 lakh are also eligible.
The candidate must only have less than 35 acres of land, including wet and dry land.
If the applicant has more than one car then they are not eligible for the scheme.
The applicant can also be Honorary remuneration employees and private sector employees working in the public sector.
The Families filing income tax up to Rs 5 lakh are also eligible.
