Extension of YSR Aarogyasri Scheme

Previously it was just operational in 7 districts and now the remaining districts like Krishna Nellore, Srikakulam, East Godavari and Anantapur to name some shall also fall under this scheme.

There have been more than 1500 diseases that are covered under YSR Aarogyasri scheme so far and more than 234 diseases have been added to the Aarogyasri scheme that has managed to cover around 2200 diseases so far

Scheme Benefits to More Districts

This scheme was started to offer medical financial assistance to the poverty line and poor people. However, it was only available in certain districts with 2059 medical ailments and procedures of 1059 that were offered. But now there soon shall be an expansion where the pilot project stated that 7 more districts are added like Kadapa, Kurnool, Prakasam, Guntur, Vizianagaram, and Visakhapatnam where the medical expenses exceeding Rs.1000 shall be covered and the ailments would increase from 1059 to 2200, including cancer care services.

Objective Of YSR Aarogyasri Scheme

  • The candidate must have municipal property tax-paying families for less than 3000 SQ FT (334 sq. Yds).

  • Outsourcing, contract, part-time employees, and sanitation workers with an annual income of over Rs 5 lakh are also eligible.

  • The candidate must only have less than 35 acres of land, including wet and dry land.

  • If the applicant has more than one car then they are not eligible for the scheme.

  • The applicant can also be Honorary remuneration employees and private sector employees working in the public sector.

  • The Families filing income tax up to Rs 5 lakh are also eligible.

  • Firstly, visit the official website of YSR Navasakam https://navasakam.ap.gov.in/

  • Then a home page shall open where you need to click on the option of download 

  • Then go ahead and click on the YSR Aarogyasri Health Card Performa 

  • Right after you click the link application form, you can go ahead and apply for the scheme that you can see popping in front of you 

  • Go ahead and download this form and get its printout and post this you need to fill all the details asked in the form and then attach all the important documents.
