Overview
NTR ysr vidyonnathi is a popular scheme that the TDP government had initiated for the scheduled caste and scheduled tribes’ students. The primary aim of this scheme is to bring equality in education amongst the students. The NTR vidyonnathi scheme is now popularly offered as the Ysr vidyonnathi scheme that was presented by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. This scheme was launched by Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu in 2015 for the betterment of SC and ST students by starting with free coaching. The students working under this scheme shall offer free coaching to SC and ST students. However, there have been some modifications that are brought by the present government
It is not just the renaming of the scheme but also there have been some additional benefits that have been initiated to help the poor students. Now, this scheme is looking forward to the free coaching not just to the ST and SC but also to brahmins, EBC, Kapus, and BC to name some.
About ysr vidyonnathi scheme
Ntr vidyonnathi scheme 2020 which popularly is now the YSR Vidyannathi scheme has been initiated to offer free coaching services for the applicants belonging to Kapu, Minority, EBC, BC, Brahmin castes, and SC. More than 3500 civil applicants get Advantages from such a program. Aspirants who get selected for the entrance exam are eligible for coaching for nine months under this scheme. However, because of the pandemic crises, the process was on hold, and is still hoping to reschedule once the lockdown gets lifted.
The extension of the advantages of the scheme after it got changed to ysr vidyonnathi scheme 2020- and 2021-year applications are yet to be processed. The government has decided to offer advantages to Kapu candidates under the Kapu welfare department. Once the students apply to the official website, the advantages can be availed once the department approves the form.
Eligibility for YSR Vidyonnathi
The annual family income should be less than 2 Lakhs.
The students applying must be permanent residents of Andhra Pradesh.
The minimum age is 21 years and a maximum of 37 years candidates are eligible.
Applicants must complete a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University/Institute of State /Central government.

YSR Vidyonnathi Process for Selection
The process to choose the students entirely depends on the test which is being conducted. It is a written test that the department organized. Those students who apply for this type of entrances test are eligible for writing the exam

Three Guidance Program
The program consists of three guidance programs for the student. It covers the whole criteria of education that need to be cleared out. The guidance program consists of:
Integrated Guidance
The students who get selected are entitled to get guidance from the CSAT + Main’s exam experts. There is a scheme tenure that has been decided to nine months.
Mains Guidance
There is another program by the name of mains guidance. This is a two-month program that has been set for those students who get qualified in the preliminary examination. This is also one of the most important exams that have been set so far for the students. It shows the ability of the students to grasp the knowledge.
Personality Test Guidance
The final stage is the personality test guidance. In this, the applicants who get chosen under the mains will be eligible to get four months. This course will depend on the UPSC interview level and is one of the good steps for the career growth that applicants can choose.

The structure of the fee payment is not at all complex. Rather it is categorized into two installment course fees that shall be paid by the government. This includes:
Installment 1:
The 1st installment payment shall be done by the AP government. Once the selected applicants are reported at a reputable institution the payment shall be processed.
Installment 2:
Once the whole course is finished, then comes the next installment. This will however be paid only when the whole course is over.

The candidates of BC can get free coaching on the civil service. These students who wish to be an IAS officer can apply for such a type of scheme.
For SC / ST Candidates
