Overview

On the 14th of December 2019, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) had invited applications to fill in 1493 vacancies. All the eligible and interested candidates who are Indian Nationals can apply for a job under the various categories of Executive & Non-Executive posts in DMRC. The last date of submitting the online application in DMRC will be 20 January 2020.

The application fee has to be submitted between 14 December 2020 and 20 December 2020

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Regular-Executive 

  • For the post of Assistant Manager/Electrical, the qualifications required are- a minimum of 60% marks/equivalent CGPA in BE/B.Tech. (Electrical) with a minimum of two years post qualification work experience.
  • For the post of Assistant Manager/S&T, the qualifications required are- minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in B.E./B.Tech in Electronics Engg., ECE, IT, Computer Science, CSE, EEE, EE, E&T., Electronics Instrumentation and Control, Instrumentation & Control, and Instrumentation along with a minimum of two years post qualification work experience.
  • For the post of Assistant Manager/ Civil, the qualifications required are- a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in B.E./B.Tech. (Civil) along with a minimum of two years post qualification work experience.
  • For the post of Assistant Manager/Operations, the qualifications required are- a minimum of 60% marks/equivalent CGPA in BE/B.Tech. In Electrical/Electronics/ Mechanical /Civil or 2 years full-time MBA with 60% marks/equivalent CGPA along with specialization in Marketing/International Business Operations / Logistics with a minimum of 2 years post qualification work experience.
  • For the post of Assistant Manager/Architect, the required qualifications are- a minimum of 60% marks in Degree in Bachelor of Architecture from a Government recognized University and registration with Council of Architecture along with a minimum post-qualification work experience of two years.
  • For the post of Assistant Manager/Traffic, the qualifications required are- a minimum of 60% marks/equivalent CGPA in B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering or a Post-Graduate in Mathematics/Statistics/Economics or Masters in Transport Planning along with a minimum of two years post qualification work experience
  • For the post of Assistant Manager/Stores qualifications required are- a minimum of 60% marks/equivalent CGPA in B.Tech./B.E. in Mechanical/Electrical/ Electronics along with a minimum of two years post qualification work experience.
  • For the post of Assistant Manager/Finance- CA/ICWA along with a minimum of two years post-qualification work experience and knowledge of SAP/ERP will be preferred.
  • For the post of Assistant Manager/Legal- full-time LL.B along with a minimum of 60% marks/equivalent CGPA and a minimum of two years post qualification work experience

Regular-Non-Executive

  • For the post of Jr. Engineer/Electrical- 3 years Engineering Diploma in Electrical/equivalent 
  • For the post of Jr. Engineer/Electronics- 3 years Engineering Diploma in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, EC, Electronics and Communications Industry Integrated, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics /Microprocessor, Electronics and Telecommunications, Instrumentation Technology, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering.
  • For the post of Jr. Engineer/Civil- 3 years of Engineering Diploma in Civil
  • For the post of Jr.Engineer/Environment-, 3 years of Engineering Diploma in Civil/equivalent
  • For the post of Jr. Engineer/Stores- 3 years of Engineering Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Civil.
  • For the post of Fire Inspector- 3 years course of B.Sc. from a Government recognized University, along with one-year Fire Safety course.
  • For the post of Assistant Programmer- a minimum of 60% marks in BCA/B.Sc. (Electronics)/B.Sc. (IT)/B.Sc. (Maths) or a minimum of 60% marks in 3 years Diploma in Computer Science of Application or a minimum of 60% marks in ‘A’ level Diploma in the Department of Electronics Accredited Computer Courses with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in ERP or Software Development, which has to include actual programming or Network Administration and working experience in ERP, preferably in SAP
  • For the post of Legal Assistant- LL.B along with a minimum of 50% marks from a Government recognized University/ Institute or National Law School.
  • For Customer Relations Assistant- a 3 or 4 years Graduation course in any field, from a Government Recognized University, and a computer literacy i.e. a certificate in Computer Application Course of a minimum six weeks duration
  • For the post of Accounts Assistant- B.Com. Or equivalent degree from a Government recognized University/Institution along with a minimum of two years post qualification work experience.
  • For the post of Stores Assistant- 3 years Engineering Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/ Civil/equivalent trade from a Government recognized University/Institute or B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics along with a minimum of 2 years post qualification work experience.
  • For the post of Assistant/CC- a Bachelor's degree in Journalism & Mass Communication or similar relevant discipline from a Government recognized University / Institution or a PG Diploma in Journalism & Mass B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. from a Government recognized University/Institution along with a minimum of 2 years post qualification work experience is required
  • For the post of Stenographer- a Graduate in any field from a Government recognized University along with a 1-year course in Office Management and Secretarial Practice or equivalent.
  • For the post of Shorthand Speed-80 wpm or English Typing Speed-40 wpm or English- proficiency in shorthand or typing in Hindi along with a minimum of two years post qualification work experience
  • For the post of Maintainer Electrician- ITI in Electrician Trade
  • For the post of Maintainer Electronic Mechanic- ITI in Electronic Mechanic, Information communication Technology System, Maintenance, Information Technology, Machine computer Hardware, Machine cum Operator, Electronic Communication System, Machine Industrial Electronics, Radio, and TV Machine, Power Electronics System 
  • For the post of Maintainer-Fitter- ITI in Fitter, Lift & Escalator Mechanic Executive Vacancies on a contract basis.
  • For the post of Assistant Manager/Electrical- a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in BE/B.Tech. (Electrical) from a Government recognized University/Institution along with a minimum of 2 years post qualification work experience.
  • For the post of Assistant Manager/S&T- a minimum of 60% marks in B.E./B.Tech in Electronics Engg./ECE/IT/C.S/CSE/EEE/EE/E&T/Electronics Instrumentation and Control, Instrumentation, and Control and Instrumentation Engineering along with a minimum of 2 years post qualification work experience
  • For the post of Assistant Manager/IT- a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in BE/B.Tech. In Computer Engineering / CSE / Computer Technology / IT or a minimum of 60% marks/equivalent CGPA in MCA, along with a minimum of 2 years post qualification work experience in ERP/Software Development including actual programming/network administration.
  • For the post of Assistant Manager/Civil- a minimum of 60% marks/equivalent CGPA in B.E./B.Tech. (Civil) along with a minimum of 2 years post qualification work experience
  • For the post of Assistant Manager/Finance- CA/ICWA is required with a minimum of 2 years post qualification work experience in a relevant discipline.
  • For the post of Jr. Engineer/Electrical- 3 years of Engineering Diploma in Electrical/equivalent trade

  • For the post of Jr. Engineer/Civil, a 3 years Engineering Diploma in Civil/equivalent is required.

Age Limit 

The minimum age to be eligible for DMRC Recruitment is 18 years.

  • The maximum age for Executive posts is 30 years.
  • The maximum age for Non-Executive posts is 28 or 30 years.

Application Fees 

  • The application fees for the candidates of UR & OBC categories will be Rs. 500/-
  • The application fees for the candidates of SC/ST/PWD and women will be Rs. 250/-

To get selected under the individual posts, the candidates will have to pass every stage. 

Examination Pattern

A Computer Based Test (CBT) is conducted for all the posts

Under CBT, two papers take place. Paper-l and Paper-ll which are to be held on the same day and at the same centre.

Paper-I

General Awareness paper consists of 120 questions; the paper holds 120 marks and is held for a time duration of 1.5 hrs.

  • General Intelligence and Reasoning paper consist of 120 questions; the paper holds 120 marks and is held for a time duration of 1.5 hrs.
  • Quantitative Aptitude paper consists of 120 questions; the paper holds 120 marks and is held for a time duration of 1.5 hrs.
  • Knowledge of the discipline/trade paper consists of 120 questions; the paper holds 120 marks and is held for a time duration of 1.5 hrs.

Paper-II

  • General English paper consists of 60 questions; the paper holds 60 marks and is held for a time duration of 45 minutes.
  • The examination is MCQ based and will be in both the languages (Hindi or English)
  • For every wrong answer, 1/3rd marks will be deducted.
  • To be selected, the candidates will have to qualify both the papers separately.
  • CBT For Maintainer-Electrician, Electronic Mechanic and Fitter
  • For every wrong answer, 1/3rd marks will be deducted.

The candidates who have undergone Lasik surgery, won't be suitable for any posts except the posts of Asstt. Programmer, Office Asstt., Store Asstt, and Legal Asstt.
