DRDO has invited applications from eligible and interested candidates to fill in 1817 vacancies for the post of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) for its recruitment 2020.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
- The candidate must have passed class 10 or equivalent from a recognized Board. Or the candidate must be ITI pass
- The candidate must possess the qualifications for their respective posts as on the crucial date of eligibility, that is 23 January 2020
- Candidates, who do not have their qualifications on the day of the crucial date of eligibility, will not be considered eligible. Thus, they should not apply.
Age Limit
- The minimum age to be eligible to apply for DRDO MTS Recruitment 2020 is 18 years

The candidates are selected based on two stages
- Tier–I (Screening)
- Tier-II (Final Selection)
The examination held is Computer-based.
Tier 1
- The Tier 1 examination is held in CBT Mode.
- General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability has a total of 35 questions and carries 35 marks. The examination is held for a time duration of 90 minutes.
- General Awareness has a total of 30 questions and carries 30 marks. The examination is held for a time duration of 90 minutes.
- Quantitative Aptitude & Numerical Ability has a total of 35 questions and carries 35 marks. The examination is held for a time duration of 90 minutes.
The Tier 1 examination holds a total of 100 marks.
Tier 2 (Final Selection)
- The Tier 2 examination is held in CBT mode.
- General Science has a total of 40 questions and carries 40 marks. The examination is held for a time duration of 90 minutes.
- General Math has a total of 40 questions and carries 40 marks. The examination is held for a time duration of 40 minutes.
- General English has a total of 20 questions and carries 20 marks. The examination is held for a time duration of 90 minutes.
The Tier 2 examination holds a total of 100 marks.
Minimum Marks
- For the candidates of UR/ESM/OBC categories, the minimum qualifying marks required for Tier 1 are 40%
- For the candidates of SC/ST categories, the minimum qualifying marks required for Tier 1 are 35%
Screening
The selection for Tier 2 is based on the merit list of Tier 1 and also depending upon the post/category/sub-category of the candidate. Then, the selected candidates appear in Tier 2. Then, the candidates will finally get selected based on their performance in the Tier 2 examination.
