On June 18, 2021, the entire number of revised openings for the IBPS RRB 2021 (CRP RRBs X) test, as well as an updated notice PDF, was announced. Exam Pattern for IBPS RRB office assistance 2021
The exam format for selection to the position of Office Assistant differs significantly from the exam pattern for Officer Grade selection. The exam for IBPS RRB Assistant 2021 will be held in two stages:
- Preliminary Exam
- Mains Exam
There will be no interview process for those applying for the position of Office Assistant. The candidate shall be chosen solely based on his or her performance in the Mains Examination.

Exams for IBPS RRB Officer 2021 will be held in three stages:
- Preliminary Exam
- Mains Exam
- Interview
The final decision will be based on a candidate's overall score in both the Mains Exam and the Interview Process.
Eligibility Criteria for IBPS RRB 2021
To apply for IBPS RRB 2021, aspirants must meet the following qualifying requirements. The requirements for qualifying include education, age, and experience, all of which are listed below.
Age Limit for IBPS RRB (as of 01st June 2021)
- Candidates for Officer Scale III must be between the ages of 21 and 40.
- Candidates for Officer Scale-II should be between the ages of 21 and 32.
- Candidates for Officer Scale I should be between the ages of 18 and 30.
- Candidates for Office Assistant (Multipurpose) should be between the ages of 18 and 30.

Candidates must possess the minimum required qualifications as listed in the table below from a recognised university/board, with results due on or before June 28, 2021.
