Overview

JMRC or Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation Ltd released a notification for the posts of Train Operator/ Station Controller, Customer Relations Assistant, Junior Engineer, Maintainer, etc. At first, there were 39 vacancies released, which was increased to 67 jobs later on. The recruitment will be done according to the rules of JMRC recruitment and service rules 2012. 

Background

Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation Ltd system exists in the city of Jaipur. The construction started in January 2010 from Mansarovar to Chandpole Bazar. The construction ended in 2014. This is the 6th Metro of India after Gurugram, Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Bangalore, and Kolkata. However, it is the first metro in India to use triple storey elevated road along with the metro track. The Badi Chaupar to Chandpole track construction started in 2020.

Educational Qualification

  • Station Controller / Train Operator (SC/TO): Graduation in any trade from any renowned university with the minimum of 50% or equal to grade or level marks, and must have physics or mathematics as one of the passed subjects in the (10, +2) in Senior Secondary or Higher Secondary or equal to equal to the examination of any renowned board.
  • Junior Engineer (Electrical): Must have a degree from a renowned institution in civil engineering with scoring marks a minimum of 50% or equal to Level or Grade.
  • Junior Engineer (Electronics): Must have a degree from a reputed institution in Electronics and communication or Electronics Engineering with scoring mark of 50% or equal to level/grade.
  • Junior Engineer (Civil): Must have a degree from a reputed institution in Electrical Engineering with a scoring mark of 50% or equal to level/grade
  • Customer Relations Assistant (CRA): Graduation in any trade from any renowned university with the minimum of 50% or equal to grade or level marks
  • Maintainer (Electrician): National Apprenticeship Certificate or National Trade Certificate in ‘Electrician’ trade or any equivalent certificate given by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, NCVT, DG E&T or Government of India with a completed course of at least two tears. And State Trade Certificate in ‘Electrician’ or any similar certificate given by the SCVT, after completion of two years of course. 
  • Maintainer (Electronics): National Apprenticeship Certificate or National Trade Certificate in ‘Electronic Mechanic’ trade or any equivalent certificate given by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, NCVT, DG E&T or Government of India with a completed course of at least two tears. And State Trade Certificate in ‘Electronic Mechanic’ or any similar certificate is given by the SCVT, after completion of two years of course. 
  • Maintainer (Fitter): National Apprenticeship Certificate or National Trade Certificate in ‘Fitter’ trade or any equivalent certificate given by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, NCVT, DG E&T or Government of India with a completed course of at least two tears. And State Trade Certificate in ‘Fitter’ or any similar certificate given by the SCVT, after completion of two years of course.

Age Limit

  • The minimum age limit is 21 years, and the maximum age limit is 46 for male candidates that belong to SC, ST, Ex-servicemen, Differently Abled, BCO, BCM, MBC or DC candidates.
  • The minimum age limit is 21 years, and the maximum age limit is 46 years for female candidates who belong to EWS( Economically Weaker Sections) and general category.
  • The minimum age limit is 21 years, and the maximum age limit is 51 for female candidates belonging to SC, ST, STA, BCO, BCM, MBC or DC candidates.
  • The minimum age limit is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 41 years for candidates applying for maintainer posts. 
  • The candidates with disabilities will be allowed for age relaxations as the general category candidates for ten years, OBC and MBC for 13 years and SC and ST for 15 years.
