Features of the Scheme

• The state government has allocated an amount of Rs 254.78 crore in its budget for the implementation of the skill enhancement scheme.

• The government has also offered an amount of Rs 274.34 crore to implement MMKSY effectively.

Training program payment

The training payment has already been set which would make sure more than 70% of the trainees will get regular employment for next 3 months. If not, then there will be a fourth installment which the training provider shall not get. The whole expense of the training is made by the MPSSDM to the concerned institutions that have been set according to the Common Cost Norms. The payment is usually made in different installments for which the details are:

• First Installment includes 30% payment to non-governmental organizations after the start of the training batch

• The second Installment includes a 30% payment to non-governmental organizations after completing the training period with a minimum of 70 percent attendance of at least 70 percent trainees.

• The third Installment includes a 20% payment to non-governmental organizations after certification of at least 70 percent of the trainees from the examination is done.

• The fourth Installment includes a 20% payment to non-governmental organizations after providing continuous employment to at least 70 percent of the certified trainees for at least three months.
