Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Non-ITI – Candidate must have passed Madhyamik with 55% Marks in aggregate and with 40% marks in Mathematics and Science each.
  • ITI -Candidate Should have passed relevant trade test from any institute recognized by NCVT or SCVT or any other authority.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 15 Years
  • Maximum Age: 24 Years

Age Relaxation

  • SC/ST Candidates: 05 years
  • OBC Candidates: 03 years
  • Physically Handicapped/ Physically Challenged/ Differently Abled Persons: 10 years for general category, 13 years for OBC and 15 years for SC/ST

Nationality

The candidate should be a citizen of India. The citizens of other countries are not allowed for recruitment.

Selection Process

There is no test or screening for the recruitment of OFB selection process. The selection process will be done as below:

  • The selection will be done based on the merit list. There will be separate merit lists for ITI and Non-ITI category.
  • For the Non-ITI category, there will be a factory-wise list made and the trades will be allotted for each factory on Merit-cum-choice basis.
  • The merit list for Non-ITI category, there will be a factory-wise list made and the trades will be allotted for each factory on Merit-cum-choice basis.
  • The average marks attained by the applicants in Madhymik or 10th boards will be considered.
  • Based on vacant positions, the selected candidate’s lists will be made and carefully selected for medical examination and document verification.
  • While selecting the candidates, if there is a tie in between the candidates such as they have the same percentage, then the older one of the candidates will be preferred. If the birth date is the same, then they will be selected based on their matriculation exams. And even if that is same, the candidates will be selected based on their alphabetical order.
