Reserve Bank of India (RBI) conducts RBI Grade B Officer Exam for the recruitment of Grade B officers in its various branches all across the country. RBI is the central bank for the country and up of that attractive pay scales and benefits lures thousands of students to apply for various posts in RBI. RBI Grade B Officers selection is based on conducting a competitive examination in three phases i.e. Preliminary, Main examination and Interview.
RBI Grade B Notification 2020
The official notification for the post of RBI Grade B Officer Exam will be released in the month of September, 2020. Candidates can start applying for the RBI Grade B exam from 3rd week of September 2020. The closing date of the application and the exam date will be released along with the official notification.

RBI Grade B Salary 2020
The basic pay scale for the RBI grade B Officer is Rs 35,150. However, the annual salary package offered to the selected candidates is in between 12-14 Lac.
Besides attractive salary, various benefits such as dearness allowance, house rent allowance, family allowance, telephone allowance and conveyance allowance are also given to the Grade B officers.
RBI Grade B Application Fees 2020
The application fee for General and OBC category is Rs. 850 whereas the same amount is reduced to Rs. 100/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category.
RBI Grade B Eligibility Criteria 2020
Candidate:
Must be a citizen of India
Must be a subject of Nepal
Must be a subject of Bhutan
Must be a Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 who has the intention of settling permanently in India.
A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
RBI Grade B Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 years and 30 years (both age included) to apply for RBI Grade B exam 2020.
RBI Grade B Educational Qualification: Candidate appearing for the RBI officer examination-2020 must be a graduate from a recognized university or institute.
He/She must have 60% marks in graduation.
Candidates with 50% marks in doctorate degree can also apply for the RBI examination.
Candidates having a masters' degree with 55% marks can also apply.

Interview process
Only after clearing all the three phases, candidates get a confirmed post as a Grade B Officer in Reserve Bank of India.

RBI Grade B Exam is the toughest exam, most equivalent to the UPSC exam. The exam pattern for the preliminary examination is shown in the table below.

RBI Grade B Officer Interview Process
Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview process based on the aggregate marks obtained in Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III of Phase II exam. The Interview Process carries 50 marks.
