SSC CHSL exam pattern Tier I

  • As previously stated, the SSC CHSL Tier I is a computer-based exam that is administered online. Candidates have 60 minutes to complete the SSC CHSL Tier I paper, which consists of 100 questions for 200 points (2 marks each question). Candidates are penalised 1/2 mark, or 0.50 mark, for each incorrect attempt, up from 0.25 mark in the previous year's recruitment.
  • Note*: PwD applicants are given an additional 20 minutes to finish the SSC CHSL Tier I test, bringing the total time to 80 minutes.

SSC CHSL exam pattern Tier II

  • Candidates who pass the Tier I test are invited to take the SSC CHSL Tier II exam. Tier II of the SSC CHSL Exam is a descriptive sort of test that evaluates students' English/Hindi writing skills. The Tier II paper's questions are based on principles taught in the 10th grade.
  • The SSC CHSL Tier-II written exam consists of two sections: a 200-250 word essay and a 150-200 word application/letter. In the Tier-II test, students must score at least 33 percent to pass.
  • The SSC CHSL Tier-II test carries a maximum score of 100 points, and candidates have 60 minutes to complete it (80 minutes for candidates who are visually handicapped or suffer from cerebral palsy).

SSC CHSL exam pattern Tier III

  • Tier III of the SSC CHSL consists of a series of skill exams that candidates must pass in order to be considered for certain government jobs. After this competence test, a final merit list of individuals selected for the CHSL exam is created. The SSC CHSL skill test comprises the following:
  • Candidates must be able to type 35 words per minute (English Medium) and 30 words per minute (Spanish Medium) in a 15-minute typing exam (Hindi Medium).
