As per the mapping data that has been gathered by the SWADES scheme, there are many top most counties from where the citizens are planning to come back. Citizens from UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia are now planning to get back to India. Depending on the skill mapping, it is inferred that the citizens have been employed primarily in the sectors like construction, oil & gas, automotive and aviation, and tourism to name some. The data of the overseas returning citizens shows that the states that have the highest returning labour are Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Telangana.
