What is an EWS Certificate

• Under the General category, EWS is a new reservation sub-category. It's a type of reservation system that went into effect in 2019. The President of India passed the EWS bill on January 12th, 2019. Gujarat became the first state to pass this legislation on January 14, 2019.

The EWS Certificate Features

Eligibility Criteria

• A minimum of 5 acres of agricultural land is required.

• In notified municipalities, residential plots of 100 square yards or more.

• A residential space of 1000 square feet or more is required.

• Residential plots with a size of 200 square yards or more in places outside of defined municipalities.
