Overview

  • ICAI is the short form used for The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. ICAI body was established by Act of Parliament i.e. CA (Chartered Accountants) 1994. The icai e-services is the premier accounting body in India and globally as well. It controls accounting and financing in India. Through the portal, ICAI regulates the profession of Accountancy, monitors quality through peer review, formulate account standards, etc. ICAI also conducts post-qualification courses. If you already have an account, you can check the exam results, check post-qualification applications, exam dates, etc.
  • Recently, eservices ICAI has implemented SSP login which is called as Self-Service Portal through which you can log in after your account creation and this will enable you to log in for a short period with your user ID and password, Understand that this guide is only for those students and members who do not have login details.

What is the process of SSP Portal Existing Student Registration

  • If you have not yet done your registration on the SSP portal, you do not have to worry. Below, we are telling you some simple steps that you can easily do your registration by following them.

  • For this, first, you must go to the official website of ICAI e service portal the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. For this, you can go by clicking on this link.

  • After this, the homepage of the website will appear in front of you. Here you have to click on the “Self Service Portal” option.

  • Now you will reach the registration page of the website. Here you must click on the “Existing Student / Members who don’t have login” option on the right side.

What is the process of Articleship Registration in the SSP Portal

  • Click on the Articleship Menu button.

  • Click on the Articleship tab.

  • The icons for the articleship deed form and audits deed form appear.

  • Click the Articleship Deed Form icon to fill the deed form.

  • Select the Date of Commencement of Articleship.

  • Enter the Membership No. of the Member / Paid Assistant under whom Articleship will be done and click on the Get Details button.

  • Select the Firm under which Articleship will be done.

  • Select the Date on which Deed is made. • Click on Submit

  • Download the deed pdf.

  • Execute the deed on stamp paper and keep a scanned copy ready.

  • Click on 'click here to edit the application and fill the registration form.

  • If you log out and log in again after executing the Articleship Deed, Go to the Submitted Applications tab and click on the Articleship Deed Form icon.

  • Click on the view button in the Action column.

  • Click on 'click here to edit the application and fill the registration form.

  • Verify the Personal Details displayed on the screen. If any changes are required, use the Profile change form to make the necessary changes. Enter the mandatory details and click on the Next button.

  • Verify the Qualification Details displayed on the screen. If any changes are required, use the Profile change form to make the necessary changes. Click on the Next button.

  • Verify the CA Course Details displayed on the screen. If any changes are required, use the Profile change form to make the necessary changes. Click on the Next button.

  • Verify the Articleship Details displayed on the screen for any previous articleship.

  • Click on the Next button.

  • Verify the Member Details displayed on the screen. Click 'I Agree' and Click on Submit.

  • Now the member is required to log in, verify the details and approve the registration form. The member can view the details using the 'Forms for Approval' tab.

ICAI’s Members and Student services have been made online, in digitized form on a new platform that works on a Self Service Mode on the Self Service portal (SSP). Application forms are available online now barring a few which will also be available shortly. Kindly visit e services ICAI on www.icai.org. It has been decided to extend the last date for online payment of ICAI membership fee of the Membership /COP fee for the year 2019-20 up to 31st December 2019. It has been further decided to waive off the condonation fee on the delay of filing of application forms related to Members, Firms, and Students, if the respective transaction date in application forms falls between 1st April 2019 to 31st December 2019.

How to Login to ICAI SSP Portal Online?

To login to your ICAI SSP account, the member can follow the steps given in the process:

  • Firstly, visit the official portal of the ICAI SSP portal using the link. www.icai.org.

  • You will see the homepage of the ICAI official portal.

  • On the home page, click on the “Self Service Portal (SSP)” option. 

  • It will redirect you to another page. https://eservices.icai.org

  • Select the Sign-in option.

  • Next, Type your Login ID credentials i.e. User ID and Password.

 

  • Click on the LOGIN button to login into your account.

Is SSP portal login permanent or temporary?

This is a permanent login for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India which is created once you follow the above guide thoroughly and this is not temporary in any case.

How to apply for the ICAI Portal Registration Online?

To create a new account in the ICAI portal, then follow the steps in the given process:

  • If you are a Student or Member the process is the same but the user needs to choose the role before creating it.

  • First, open the official website of ICAI through the link www.icai.org.

  • The home page of the Portal will open on your screen.

  • Click on the Sign-IN option.

  • Select the “Click Here” pop-up under the ‘New students enrolling to SSP for the first time.

  • Choose your role i.e., Student or Member.

  • Again, click on the Click Here link.

  • Now, select Salutation and enter your details i.e. First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Email address, Mobile Number.

  • Select your country and nationality.

  • Next, click on Generate OTP.

  • Enter the OTP that you received.

  • Click on the Register button to complete the registration process.

  • Note your User ID and Password to log in.

How to retrieve or reset the ICAI e services login password?

  • If you are not able to access the SSO portal login with your user ID and the password, then you can retrieve the password from the SSO portal login page by clicking on “Forgot Password” and follow the steps asked to reset a new password.

  • On the homepage, click on the “Self Service Portal” option below.

  • Now the login page will appear in front of you. On this page, you will get the below “Forgot Password?” option, click on it. 

  • Now a new page will appear in front of you. On this page, you have to enter your login ID and captcha. 

  • After that, you have to select the reset password option.

  • After that click on the “Submit” button below.

  • Now OTP will be received on your mobile number, by entering it you can change your password.

  • If you have selected the option of the email, you will get a link to reset the password on your email, you can reset your password by clicking on it.

What is the Member Login Process?

  • Once approved by the member, a student is required to download the PDF, get it signed by the member and upload the scanned copy of the PDF to complete the registration process.

  • For uploading the signed copy of the PDFs, the student is required to log in again, view the registration form in the submitted applications tab, click next on all the screens and upload the signed and scanned copy of the Deed (Form 102) and Registration (Form 103) PDF on the last screen.

  • Click on Submit and Make the fee ICAI membership restoration fees online payment, if applicable.
