Stage1 - Online Examination
The online examination follows a detailed pattern; it is a computer-based or online objective test. Candidates must pass the Stage I exam in order to take the Stage II exam. Stage II is not open to candidates who did not qualify in Stage I. The stage I exam pattern is shown below.
The online exam is a multiple-choice test.
There will be a total of 120 questions for a total of 120 points.
Each question is worth one mark.
Negative marking will be applied to each incorrect response, with 0.33 marks dropped for each incorrect answer.

Stage II - Computer Proficient Test(CPT)
Candidates who pass Stage I will go to Stage II, which will be a computer proficiency test. Candidates must be well prepared because questions will be asked subject by subject.
Note that Stage II is a qualifying stage.
There will be no negative marking at this time.

Stage III - Typing Test
Shortlisted candidates are invited to take a typing test.

Candidates that pass all of the selection process's tests will be considered for this position. Following the selection procedure, the authorities will compile a final merit list and a selection list. The merit list will be available to candidates after the authorities have submitted it to the DDA's official online portal.
Candidates seeking exclusions from the typing exam should follow the steps below.
Handicapped candidates who are otherwise competent for the clerical position and who have been certified by the Medical Board connected to the Special Employment Exchanges for the handicapped as being unable to type may be exempted from the test. Applicants who wish to be excused from the typing test must upload a scanned copy of their medical certificates near the location specified in the application form.
Important Note: The term "Physically Handicapped" does not include candidates who are blind or deaf, but only those who are physically disabled and unable to type permanently.

According to the official notice, the DDA Junior Secretariat position is in Group C. The applicants that are chosen will be compensated according to the 7th Pay Commission's recommendations.
