Eligibility Criteria

To avail of the benefit of PMUY, you need to meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Should be above 18 years of age

  • Should be an Indian citizen

  • Should be a woman from a BPL family

  • Should not have LPG connection

  • Should not be availing any benefit under other similar schemes

Those beneficiaries who will be in the BPL households under SC/ST households, Most Backward Classes (MBC), and even forest dwellers category will be considered.

Who can apply for PM Ujjwala Yojna?

As a part of the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana scheme, the beneficiaries of this scheme are entitled to get the refills of up to three cylinders of 14.2 kg along with the advance of the Retail selling price.
