The Common Service Centers Scheme (CSC) Portal has been launched by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of the Government of India. The CSC scheme is one of the Digital India program's mission mode projects. CSC was created to provide rural communities with government and non-government services. TEC certification is required for anyone who wants to open a CSC Center.

A common service centre is a location where citizens can access a variety of services on a single platform. All services provided by the CSC common service centre in India would be digital, including money transfers, credential creation, and numerous government initiatives. The Village Level Entrepreneur VLE will be assigned a common service centre CSC. 

You can make big money at CSC Center by offering public service. To open a CSC centre in 2021, you'll need to complete a Telecentre Entrepreneur course and acquire a TEC CSC certificate. You can apply for CSC e-Gov Center through your TEC certificate number.

What is tec certificate

All residents and Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLE) who desire to become accredited VLE can take the Telecentre Entrepreneur Course (TEC). The CSC made passing the TEC exam a requirement for opening a CSC centre. Only TEC Certified citizens were allowed to open the CSC centre, which provided all government-related services in a digital format. People who do not have a TEC Certificate number cannot apply for SCS centres. Tec csc registration process

Anybody who wants to start a CSC centre must first obtain a TEC certificate. To register for the same follow the steps below:

  • Citizens must first go to the official TEC CSC registration page https://www.cscentrepreneur.in/.

  • The home page appears; select Login from the drop-down menu.

  • On the new page, choose the Register option under Certificate Course in Entrepreneurship (CCE).

  • On the screen, the registration page will appear.

  • Fill in your name, phone number, email address, state, district, address, gender, date of birth, and father/mother/spouse name on the registration form.

  • Enter the captcha code after uploading the passport-size photo.

  • For TEC CSC registration, select the submit option.

  • The payment page appears once you submit the registration form.

  • Applicants can pay using a variety of methods, including credit card, debit card, UPI, net banking, and so on.

  • Select a payment option and complete the transaction.

  • A registration fee of Rs 1479 is required.

  • The candidates will receive the username and password for the TEC login when they have paid.

How To Get A Tec Certificate Number?

To obtain a TEC Certificate number, candidates must first complete the registration process by registering for a TEC Certificate and paying for it.

Now follow the steps mentioned below to obtain the TEC certificate number.

  • To log in, applicants will be given a username and password.

  • The Applicants will see the TEC certificate modules page on the screen after logging into the TEC CSC portal.

  • To access the TEC dashboard, click the learning link.

  • There will be ten TEC course modules available.

  • The modules include material in PDF format as well as English and Hindi videos.

  • Now go over the modules and pass the exam by clicking the assessment button.

  • Each module comprises 10 questions, each of which has a time limit of 60 seconds and is bilingual.

  • After you've finished the exam, submit it.

  • The applicants can download the TEC certificate, which will include a TEC certificate number, after 3 to 4 days.

  • To apply, applicants must go to the CSC's official website https://www.cscentrepreneur.in/.

  • On the home page, click log in with Us.

  • A new page appears; select log in with CSC Connect from the drop-down menu.

  • Click on generate OTP after entering the TEC certificate number and mobile number.

  • Verify the OTP received to the mobile phone by entering it.

  • Now enter your email address and confirm it.

  • A new screen appears; enter the Aadhaar card's virtual ID, gender, DOB, state, and district.

  • Click the submit option after entering the captcha code.
