How to transfer patta?

You must apply for Patta's transfer. The application must be submitted to the office of the relevant tehsildar. When applying for a Patta Chitta transfer, include photocopies and original documents such as the selling deed, tax receipts, electricity bill, and encumbrance certificate.

On the basis of the study conducted by the responsible department, the application may be accepted or rejected. Fees for transferring from Patta Chitta is merely Rs 100.

  • To complete the verification or poramboke land, go to the Tamil Nadu Government E-services official website https://eservices.tn.gov.in/eservicesnew/index.html.

  • Go to the “Verify Poramboke Land” option on the website's home page.

  • A new page will appear on your screen, prompting you to provide the following information:

    • District of Choice,

    • Now Select Taluka,

    • Select Village

    • Enter the survey number here.

    • Enter Subdivision Number

  • To view the information about the land, click the “submit” button next to the columns.
