The result of the Diploma/Polytechnic Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, and Other Courses Exam has been released by the Controller of Examinations. As a result, all students who appeared in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th semester exams can now access the Bihar SBTE Diploma Result.
Every year in June/July, SBTE Bihar announces SBTE online Diploma results of 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th Results 2021. SBTE Results were released in the same month this year too. SBTE board passing criteria
- A candidate must receive a minimum of 40% in each topic, including both theory and practical marks. Out of these 40 points, 28 must be earned in theory and 12 must be earned in practicals.
- In the practical exam, a candidate must achieve a minimum score of 40%.
(Example: 12 out of 30 in practicals)
- In a sessional/internal exam, a candidate must achieve a minimum score of 40%.
SBTE board grace marking rules
- Grace marking is only allowed in Bihar under the following conditions, according to SBTE Board rules.
- If a candidate has taken the test for all of the theory and practical papers in a semester and has passed all of the subjects in theory and practical papers, but has failed in one theory paper by a maximum of 5 marks, he will be given grace marks and proclaimed passed. The grace marks will be deducted from the subject in which the candidate received the highest score.
- If a candidate has taken the test for both theory and practical papers in a semester and has passed all topics in the theory and practical papers, but has failed in two theory papers by less than 5 marks combined in two subjects, he will be given grace marks and proclaimed passed. The grace marks will be deducted from the subject in which the candidate received the highest score.
SBTE result re-evaluation rules
Some students may be dissatisfied with the grade rating after the results are announced. As a result, those candidates might request a Scrutiny/Revaluation of the result, as there is a chance that the SBTE result will be reevaluated.
The Test Controller, SBTE Board Bihar, must receive an application form for a Scrutiny/Revaluation in any paper of the semester exam.
The Scrutiny/Revaluation fee will be assessed per subject.
The fee is payable to the Secretary, SBTE Bihar, and should be paid to the institute's head.
Only applications for Scrutiny/Revaluation received within 15 days of the result's announcement will be accepted. The application will not be evaluated if it exceeds this limit.
Under the supervision of the Exam Controller, the answer sheet will be examined by a three-member committee appointed by the Secretary, SBTE Bihar.
If a totalling error or an unchecked question is discovered, the answer sheet will be sent to the appropriate branch.
Scrutiny/Revaluation results will be communicated to candidates through their respective institutes.
