UP Board Scheme 2020 - 12th Class
Overview
The syllabus for the 12th class students is designed by Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP). To improve and ensure the quality of education of students in the state, the UP Board follows the NCERT textbooks for all the subjects.
Under the class 12th English syllabus of UP board, class 12thbcommerce syllabus of UP board, class 12th Hindi syllabus of UP board, class 12th Science syllabus of UP board and class 12th Arts subjects of UP board, all the topics are covered and completed by the board, within the academic year.
UP Board Marking Scheme For Class 12th, For The Year 2020. The results of class 12th UP Board were announced on 27th June 2020. The board strictly follows the UP board marking scheme for standard evaluation. For the theory and the practical examinations, there are separate grades, and they are allotted according to the grading system of Class 12th of the UP Board.
The grades of each candidate are given according to his/her performance. Once the marks are given, the GPA is calculated through them. The theory subjects carry the weightage of 70 marks, and the practical and project works carry the weightage of 30 marks.
Grading System
- For Getting marks between 91-100, the student gets 10-grade points, and the Grade allotted to him/her is A1P
- For getting marks between 81-90, the student gets 9-grade points, and the Grade allotted to him/her is A2
- For getting marks between 71-80, the student gets 8-grade points, and the Grade allotted to him/her is Bde1
- For getting marks between 61-70, the student gets 7-grade points, and the Grade allotted to them is B2
- For getting marks between 51-60, the student gets 6-grade points, and the Grade allotted to him/her is C1
- For getting marks between 41-50, the student gets 5-grade points, and the Grade allotted to him/her is C2
- For getting marks between 33-40, the student gets 4-grade points, and the Grade allotted to him/her is D
- For getting marks between 21-32, the student gets C grade points, and the Grade allotted to him/her is E1
- For getting marks below 21, the student gets C grade points, and the Grade allotted to him/her is E2
According to this grading criteria, to pass the theoretical exam, students must get a D at the least.
Grading System of the Practical Exams
In the practical exams, the students get their grades based on their school's internal evaluation and performance.
- For getting marks between 80-100, A grade is allotted to the student.
- For getting marks between 60-79, B grade is allotted to the student.
- For getting marks between 45-59, C grade is allotted to the student.
- For getting marks between 33-44, D grade is allotted to the student.
- For getting marks less than 33, E grade is allotted to the student.
