In the first phase, the e-FIR service is only available for car theft, snatching, cybercrime, and missing child cases in Uttar Pradesh. Step 1: Go to the UP Police's official website, https://uppolice.gov.in/.

Step 2: On the homepage, go to the menu area and select the “Citizen Services” option.

Step 3: Next, select the “E-FIR” option, which will redirect you to a new page of the CCTNS site.

Step 4: The CCTNS portal page appears on the screen, with a login option for registering an FIR.

Step 5: After that, you must create an account with the CCTNS portal. After you've completed your registration, you'll be given a login ID and password.

Step 6: Return to the Login page and log in using the provided user id and password. 

Step 7: Fill in the FIR with the requested information.

Step 8: Now that you've completed the form filling, you're ready to register with the police online.

Step 10: If your fir is authorised, you will receive confirmed information via SMS or email.
