The Revenue Department of the Delhi government in the year 2014 had introduced a ‘tatkal’ service to make sure there is a single-day authorization of the marriage followed under the registration process that can be undertaken at high priority. The service became operational on April 22, 2014, which lets the citizens register their nuptials and have a certificate get issued within24 hours on payment of Rs. 10,000 as a fee.
