Recently Punjab State Government has launched the Labour Card Scheme in the state for of course the welfare of the labourers who have been residing in the state.   • Stipend Scheme:  Rs 3,000 to Rs 70,000 per annum for first class to degree courses. It is also applicable for children of registered construction workers

  • Funeral Assistance Scheme: This scheme covers the financial aid of Rs. 20,000 / –for funeral and funeral expenses in the state of Punjab once the registered construction worker or his family member dies.

  • Financial aid of Rs. 20,000 / – annually of construction workers for the care of mentally challenged or disabled children.
